Chocolate Peanut Drops

We have been without an oven since May. That means no baked sweets, no lasagna, or yummy casseroles, no garlic bread with pasta, no meat loaf, no baked chicken, and the list goes on. This weekend, I found a quick and easy snack that my family loved and wanted to share with my friends, that doesn't require an oven.

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup butterscotch chips
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2/3 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons butter
5 cups of Crunchy Raisin Bran Cereal (Kroger Brand)
1 cup dry roasted peanuts

Place chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, brown sugar, peanut butter, and butter in larger microwave safe bowl. Heat on high 1.5-2 minutes, stirring until smooth. Add cereal and peanuts, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Drop mixture onto waxed paper covered baking sheets. Chill for at least 1 hour. Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator.
