Evelyn's Room Make-Over

We recently had our home reappraised and it didn't go like we had imagined; the lady was new and missed a whole bathroom and living space. After talking with our Realtor (no, we aren't moving), she put us at ease explaining our appraiser is new and rather inexperienced. However, we did learn that due to the new housing bill passed that any space considered below ground level is not included in the square footage of the house thus our newly remodeled kitchen and living room doesn't exist on paper when we plan to sell our house. Therefore, before beginning our master bedroom and bathroom project we wanted to be sure our house would sell "without" a main floor kitchen. And we did receive good advice... so we are going with our plan b and I am finishing our current master bedroom the way I've always wanted (pictures in the future) but first I am giving Evelyn's room a pink make-over; pink, tan, and white. The little girl's room she has always wanted with more of a grown-up feel so the room will grow with her as she grows. In addition, the king size IKEA bed is just too over-sized for her little room. She will be so surprised!
