April 17 – Evelyn, “Is Lisa really Brittany’s aunt?” Hannah, “Yes, and Luke is too. They are my cousins.” E: “So is Jens your cousin?” H: “He will be when Brittany marries him.” Thinking... E: “So if you marry daddy then you can be a part of my family? Hannah, please will you marry daddy? Pretty please?” As she hugs my leg. E: “You just seem so happy together and I love you.”
April 18 – Hannah, “I am so glad you are eating the leftovers.” Adam, “You sound like a mom.” Jeremy, “She has been for awhile. She was born a mom.” A: “You could be our second mom that would be cool.” H: “It would bring me great joy.” A: “It would be cool, just like it is now but you would be around more.” J: “Are my kids trying to marry me off?” with a laugh.
April 21 – Sam, “Have you ever had her ice cream cake? It’s awesome!” (Sam talking to Adam’s friend Frankie about my dessert making skills.)
April 22 – Evelyn, “If you were my mommy you could be the big horse and I would be the little baby horse.” Showing me her stuffed horses, mom and baby.
